CONNECTION #3 When I first read the poem, Not Leaving Home, I immediately thought of this painting by Mary Cassette. The painting in my opinion is the perfect visual description of Gary Snyder’s poem. Both the painting and poem draw the idea that home with you child all you need in life and is true happiness. I think that both of these works of art are incredible and relate to each other enormously.
